Location in West Cork

Kilcoe Cottage, our self catering home in West Cork is located seven miles west of Skibbereen and three miles east of Ballydehob on the Kilcoe Peninsula. Eighty minutes from Cork Airport, ninety minutes from Cork Ferry Port, three and a half hours from Dublin and Waterford. See the directions page for Google Map and more details.

Nestled on the protected side of the hill and less than half a mile from the main road, Kilcoe Cottage is easy to find but very private. Set in idyllic rural surroundings with glimpses of Roaring Water Bay in the distance, you can’t but relax.

Ballydehob is perfectly positioned as the crossroads of West Cork. From here there is easy access to all three major peninsulas, The Beara, Sheeps Head and of course our own Mizen. Towns in the area include Skibbereen, Bantry, Glengarriff, Clonakilty and Dunmanway. Villages include our own wonderful Ballydehob, Schull, Baltimore, Durrus, Crookhaven and Goleen. Check them out on our links page.

Activities in the area are numerous. From Surfing to Kayaking to Zorbing and PaintBall. The area is famous for watersports in general and none more-so than sailing in Schull and Baltimore.
